This page collects our bitcoin walkthroughs. Each one is built the same way: first the trading range, then which half of it price is in, and only then the idea. Premium and discount are not opinions — they are the halves of a range, and they are visible on the chart.
Every walkthrough names three things: point A, point B and the condition under which the idea stops working. The condition is named BEFORE the outcome is visible — otherwise a walkthrough is just a retelling of the past.
Bitcoin ideas with the markup: the range boundaries, liquidity that has been taken, the most traded volume zone and the target. The work is done on the BTCUSDT.P perpetual — it carries volume, without which the traded-volume zone cannot be built.
Until the boundaries are known, the words "expensive" and "cheap" mean nothing. The upper half of a range is premium, the lower half is discount. That is where the decision comes from: buys are looked for in discount, sells in premium, and not the other way around.
Every idea has a level beyond which it stops being true. We name it in advance and check it against what happened. If the condition is broken, the idea is closed — and that is written down as plainly as a good outcome.
Watch the short lesson "The trading range in plain words": premium, discount and how to read direction. After it, the walkthroughs on this page read without a glossary.
