Defining the idea is harder than following it: the idea share shows how often the thesis proved right, while the range share shows how precisely an already accepted thesis was followed through.
The idea share counts each closed idea once. The range share counts completed ranges, so an idea enters it with the weight of its completed ranges — from zero to several — whether or not the idea itself is closed. Ideas still open and ranges still in progress count in neither share.
The statistics are cumulative and are updated as ranges close. Updated: 4 October 2026.
